Let me first clarify what I mean by online products. I mean information products that can be delivered via the internet and not physical products. Also when I talk about products I mean information that can be downloaded and used by the customer at home on their own rather than programmes that, by my definition, would involve some level of interaction between you and your customers in order to deliver the information. The three main formats for online information products are ebooks, audios and videos. There are others such as apps, software e.g. WordPress plug-ins and templates e.g. sales letter generators. I am going to confine this article to the 3 main formats.
So, let’s say you wanted to go into business for yourself. Why look for something brand new that will take a ton of start-up capital and time to get out to the masses, let alone turn a profit. You might as well piggyback off of a business model in this arena that is already established and gives you a credible chance to be successful, as in earning a steady and growing monthly income.
The next thing you must find out is the type of support the software supplier is offering. Are they offering onsite support or just online tutorial course? Support is very important as you will not want to spend too much time to master the use of the software.
I believe that every business should be based on honesty and transparency. There should be no hidden cost, hidden taxes or hidden policies. Whatever you have, you should always post it on your site. Be it return policies or payment policies, write it up all up. Do you want to make a quick buck or do you prefer a long term flow of cash? Run your business honestly and you will have customers return again and again. Tell your product as it is. Don’t hide details just because you think it won’t sell. Customers appreciate buying what they can understand. With the economy being so low at this point, people are more worried about spending money. Do your part in letting them know exactly what you’re selling to them.
One of the more exciting step in setting up your business will always be picking a name. My girlfriend and chose T.I.L. Darling because before we were officially a couple, she would tell me that in Thailand, her home country, that she and I could never go out alone as even friends. I told her, ‘This is London, Darling.’ So, I guess our business name should technically be T.I.L., Darling, to be more grammatically correct. Once you have your fictitious business name, you need to make a pretty good attempt to make sure no one find this is using that same name. Otherwise, years down the line when you are making money, you can expect a letter from a lawyer saying how they are going to sue the designer pants off of you.
You will have three choices when it comes to signing up for a PayPal account. The choices are personal, premier or business. There is also a student sign up for PayPal but we will not classifieds in Nigeria deal with this today.
Did you decide to buy something online recently because you knew that, in addition to perhaps getting it a little cheaper, you wouldn’t have to pay sales tax? Either way, an online vendor isn’t obligated to collect sales tax unless they have a physical location in the state they are shipping to.
Those are only 3 Easy ways to make extra money. Once you complete those three easy steps, the trick is to get people to click on your links or visit your webpage or landing page. The more people you get to click through you the more money you will make. It is really that simple.
